Dr. Mohammed Munawar
Biography
Consultant Clinical Psychologist with exceptional credentials, including two Doctorates. Dr Munawar has successfully completed a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and also a PhD specialising in Depressive Disorders. He has also completed an MSc in Occupational Psychology. The expertise in Clinical and Occupational Psychology has equipped him to specialise in a number of areas. He is qualified and trained to both assess and to work therapeutically with a range of client groups, including adults and children. He has substantial experience of working within the NHS, private and third sector. His career includes holding clinical leadership posts for mental health services and providing senior level consultancy to NHS England. He has extensive experience in conducting medico-legal psychological assessments. He has completed Bond Solon Training on Excellence in Expert Witness Report Writing. He is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (AFBPsS). This esteemed title is awarded by the British Psychological Society in recognition of an individual’s significant experience and contribution to the field of Psychology. He is also a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with the British Psychological Society, and a Registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council. He is accredited to provide a range of psychological therapies which are recommended by the National Institute for Health & Care Excellence (NICE). He is an accredited psychotherapist with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) for CBT.
