Dan Barnard qualified as a Doctor of Clinical Psychology at Oxford University in 2003. Since that time, he has concentrated on developing clinical expertise with adults with mental health difficulties, specialising in the treatment of complex post-traumatic stress disorder and psychological care for staff that have experienced traumatic incidents. He has worked to trailblaze wider improvements and influence in NHS mental healthcare of military veterans and is now one of the clinical leads for OpCourage NHS veterans’ mental health services across Midlands and led by CWPT. Dan was previously head of adult psychological services for Coventry & Warwickshire NHS Partnership Trust.
