Dr. Jonathan Greensides
Biography
Dr Greensides has 18 years experience of working as an NHS general adult consultant psychiatrist, all within London. He has worked at a consultant level in assertive outreach, home treatment teams and the last 10 years has managed a mixed acute psychiatric inpatient facility. He has Extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of adults with psychiatric and psychological illness.
The majority of his work has been with patients with psychotic illnesses and major mood disorders though by virtue of the nature of his work he has considerable experience of the broad range of psychiatric presentations, their differentiation, complications and treatments.
He is currently the chair of the local serious incident review group and am active in the teaching, training and supervision of both undergraduate and postgraduate students. He is a CASC examiner for the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
Dr Greensides has been preparing Medico-legal reports since he was a psychiatric trainee working in a court diversion scheme. He regularly prepares reports for criminal, family and civil cases as well as first tier tribunal work which forms an integral part of his NHS work.
