Biography

Dr Alexander Drake is an HCPC registered clinical psychologist specialising in expert opinion. His experience spans adult and older adult mental health, substance misuse, learning disabilities, neurorehabilitation, functional neurology, and neuropsychology. He has a particular interest in psychological assessment and the unconscious expression of distress through the body, including pain, fatigue, and functional neurological disorder (FND), as well as anxiety.

Dr Drake provides rapid, high-quality assessments of psychology, cognition, capacity, mental health, and personal injury. He is skilled in analysing complex cases, clearly identifying contributory factors in a person’s presentation, and delivering precise, actionable recommendations for non-mental health professionals.

A passionate learner, Dr Drake has won two university prizes and is a published academic author, including work on the complexities of capacity assessment. He continues to refine his expertise in human psychology to ensure the highest standard of professional service.
