Dr. Thomas Nally
Biography
Dr Thomas Nally is a Chartered and Registered Forensic Psychologist. He is registered with the HCPC as a practitioner psychologist and holds a PhD. He has worked in secure services, providing assessment and treatment for difficulties associated with Aggression and Sexual Violence. He has also been part of a research team and has published numerous journal articles.
He provides psychological therapy for clients for a range of difficulties general aggression and harmful sexual behaviour/sexual offending. He provides therapy across different settings, such as in residential placements and in the community. He provides trauma therapy for individuals that experience difficulties following distressing experiences and is an accredited EMDR therapist. He is trained in a variety of assessment tools, including HCR-20, SVR-20, SAPROF, J-SOAP II risk assessment tools, and clinical assessments such as the IPDE, PCL-R, SCID, WAIS IV and the ACIA. He regularly completes psychological assessments, risk assessments and cognitive assessments for individuals across the lifespan, both commissioned by local authorities and the Court.
